Posted 08/04/2008 03:16:27 AM | | HELP !! I work with bees 3 times a week. I have been getting stung by German Black Bees whom are particulaly aggresive. They are leaving huge welts and enlarged limpth nodes. I have never gotten severe reactions with other bites through the years. I have found that if I am stung, I can pick some grass/weeds/flowers where I am working, rub it on my socks around my shoes where they love to go and they will seem to not be attracted to that place I rub grass in fact they fly right by. I am thinking I could make some kind of tincture (?) or something of that nature to spray my bee suit, where it touches my body, so they will avoid me. Any suggestions on this idea?? When the bee stings, it sends out pheromes to attack and more show up sting site to attack. this could be very dangerous for me and other workers. Please help with suggestions experiments or any kind thoughts.
